Hogenakal Falls

The name Hogenakkal is derived from Kannada, it means smoky rocks and the falls are no less beautiful than their name. Here the gushing force of the water when falls on the rocks below looks like smoke emanating from the rocks. The immensely picteresque and awe-inspiring white waters of the Cauvery river tumble down from a height of 20 mts.
